Overview

The mischevious dinosaurs found everywhere on the planet. They serve General Scales and his plan and they come in all sorts of colours!

Character Bio

The characters' biographies were leaked (with other promotional material such as official renders, condensed story and gameplay footage) on the website RareThief in September 2012. All bios are dated for the year 2000.

It’s worth mentioning though, not all character’s information and trivia are present in the December 1, 2000 prototype. These were probably written pretty early on in the development of the game to summarize each character, but were not really changed after the game’s story underwent many changes and evolutions. (i.e : Krystal's backstory not being mentioned except that she was adopted by Randorn or Krystal’s crush on Sabre even though they are siblings.)

Personality
As an off shoot of the HookClaw Tribe the Sharpclaw, over the years, have slowly developed a slightly more civilized behavior (although their under developed brains somehow contradict this!)
Role in game
Led by the evil dictator General Scales, the grunting SharpClaws will be found at numerous locations throughtout the game. Their main form of attack will be single club although they will be found stationed at large gun placements and even rolling gunpowder barrels down a hill at you! Whenever a SharpClaw is killed, it will leave behind a unit of magic energy. Disposing of them will become the main way of keeping magic energy levels high. Shown above is a standard SharpClaw although they will be found in several different guises throughout the game. Some will be fond in winter clothing where as others will actually ride jet bikes lent to them by Drakor! Although rather hostile towards Sabre and Krystal it is believed that the Sharpclaw are not genuinely bad, but only following their evil leader's orders due of fear of reprisals. It will eventually turn out that ridding the planet of General Scales will release the Sharpclaw tribe from evil, giving them new hope for the future!

Kidnaps Kyte
- Falls off / Teleports away from the galleon in confrontation with Krystal
Steals Galleon back from Krystal in Warlock Mountain
Kills Queen CloudRunner in CloudRunner Fortress
- In SFA she doesnt die, but Kyte makes it very clear "She's dead!" in DP
Gets the spellstone in CRF, but loses it to Krystal
- Well, i mean, he just teleported away. it was one of his underlings who lost it.
Tries & fails to stop Krystal from putting her second spellstone in at the Desert Force Point Temple
- This cutscene is very hard to actually get to trigger
