General Scales
"General Scales, ruler, tyrant, and dictator of the SharpClaw tribe." - General Scales
Overview
General Scales is a SharpClaw Dinosaur, and the leader of their tribe. He is a ruthless and cunning villain, and acts only in the pursuit of power. He captains the Flying Galleon, a living airship that he uses to transport his troops and travel around the planet.
Early story (From Character Bio)
Orphaned at an early age, Scales grew up in the SharpClaw Tribe with a strong hatred of authority. A bully from the day he was born, Scales was feared by the rest of the SharpClaws youngsters. In his early teens, he took part in many battles and was to become the youngest General in the SharpClaw army. His lust for power was relentless and as leader of the army, at the age of 24, he acted out a coup and took control of the Tibe for himself.
After long being denied the opportunity for his SharpClaws to become one of the Ruling Tribes, he struck a deal with Drakor, a dragon from the Kamerian Race, and instigated the capture of Princess Kyte and Prince Tricky in order to turn the CloudRunner and EarthWalker Tribes against each other.
Though Scales does not realize it, he is just a pawn working for Drakor's Master Plan.

Questions / Answers
- What Scales will do when Dinosaur Planet is his... (his own words)
All o fthe dinosaur tribes will bow before me at any given point and kiss my feet when I say so!
- Personality
The comment above gives you an idea of the kind of creature we are dealing with. He is the self confessed Ruler, Tyrant, and Dictator of the Sharpclaw tribe. Other than Drakor, General Scales is probably the game's most evil character who will stop at nothing to win, even if that means killing the innocent on the way!!
- Role in game
Throughout most of the game, the player will percieve General Scales as being their main adversary. His large claw and agile movement see him become a difficult foe when the player goes head to head wiht him in a battle to the death in the Desert Force Point Temple.
Concept arts and early idealizations
Concept art of General Scales. The second, colored version would be used as an image in the main menu of multiple builds of Dinosaur Planet.
General Scales has, at heart, been the same character throughout all of development. His boss changed, his design was altered, the Flying Galleon got a face lift, but at the end of the day he was still the Terrible Dictator of the SharpClaw Tribe, and he's still an unwitting pawn in the plan of someone else. Despite some believing otherwise, he was never planned to be the big bad of the game.
Renders & Models
Character Bio Render
This is the same render as used in the character bio previously, in a t-pose. His clothing is somewhat different to his in-game model, but overall is quite similar. The profile image in this wiki article uses the same model, but is put in a more natural stance.
In-Game Render
General Scale's in-game model, accompanied by two swords. While quite similar to his high-res render, there are some notable differences. The spikes on his pauldrons are missing, and his clothing has been changed from black to purple, with the exception of his right glove. The writing on his chest is completely absent.
