= Overview =

Kyte is the Princess and only daughter of the [[CloudRunner]] royal family. She may be young, but she display great kindness and resolve on her adventures with Krystal. Even though she witnessed her mother death, by the hands of [[General Scales>>General-Scales]], she continues on with [[Krystal]]'s adventure and support her throughout her journey's end. She'll make a great Queen for her tribe even at her age!

A fierce storm had been raging over the the Fortress for almost a full cycle of the moon. When the weather finally let up, Kyte could stand being cooped no longer. As these lulls were the best to collect fireflies, she took the advantage and left her quarters. Flying around the fortress, she came to a rock ledge that she knew would be buzzing with fire flies, she wasn't disappointed. As they were always extremely docile after a large storm, they were very easy to collect. Kyte ate as many flies as many flies as she could stuff in her mouth, but kept some, as she knew her mother would appreciate the tasty snack!

\\She had just filled a small container, when Kyte heard a loud fizz and crackling behind her. As she turned around a thin column of light struck her. This "magic" was in fact one of [[Scales>>General Scales]] crude laser stuns given to him by [[Drakor>>Drakor]]! However hard she tried, she could not fly! As Kyte stood struggling on the rock ledge a huge wooden galleon rose out of the dark sky in front of her. Though the cloud, she could make out the piercing eyes of [[General Scales>>General Scales]]. He gave the order and before she knew what had happened, two [[SharpClaw>>SharpClaw]]'s were bundling her into a sack. Her world descended into darkness...

\\Waking up, Kyte found herself caged on the [[Galleon>>Galleon]] as it flew through the raging skies. In the distance she could just make out the shape of a CloudRunner soldier flying towards the galleon. He appeared to have [[a strange blue creature>>Krystal]] strapped to his back! This blue creature turns out, of course, to be [[Krystal>>Krystal]] and a new friendship begins.

Kyte has developed a mature outlook on life and will not rush headlong into rash decisions and acts (Unlike a certain little prince!) Her father was killed when she was a baby and this left her mother with the responsibility of the CloudRunner Tribe. Unable to spend much time with her mother, Kyte was alone for much of her young life.This has made her very resilient and independent, though she does wish someone to look up to (this is where Krystal fits in).

Kyte is Krystal's Sidekick. She is under complete control by the player . The obvious difference between her and Tricky is that she can fly. This turn changes the way you play levels involving Krystal and Kyte.

Spikes are not present on Kyte's in-game mode, as well as little claws on her hand. Her feet only had two toes and looked more slender then the final one, that look more like conventionnal dinosaur feet.

This renders seems pretty close, except for the wings. They have no darker parts under them and they have a little gradient of pink by their ends - which is not present here. Other than that, the head, feet, tail is really close to her in-game model.
